How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.


How accurate are the colours on your website?

We try very hard to ensure that our colours are shown as accurately as possible but all display screens are different so we have no control how the colours display on  other screens.


Are all skeins in a single colour way identical?

No, they are not identical but they will be as close to identical as we can possibly make them. If you are making a large project using more than one skein, we recommend that you alternate the skeins every couple of rows; this will ensure an even distribution of colour and avoid pooling of colours. If pooling is what you want, then feel free to ignore this advice... :)

Dye is coming off on my hands while I’m knitting/crocheting, what should I do?

Don’t panic, the dye is non-toxic and will wash off, though it may take quite a bit of scrubbing. If you are part-way through your project, finish it and then follow the advice below under “Help! My yarn is bleeding!”

Soak your item in warm water with some “delicates” washing detergent for 10 - 15 minutes (no longer or the dye could bleed more) then rinse, rinse and rinse again. The excess dye should be loosened enough and rinse off. Rinse until the water runs clear, then dry as normal. You can also use a colour-catcher sheet. We do not recommend the use of woolwash, unless it is unscented, as the essential oils used can actually encourage the dye to bleed.If none of your attempts work, please contact us and we will discuss how to resolve the issue.

The colour I liked has sold out, can I get more?

Sorry, but no. Our colourways are all one-offs or very small dye-lots (no more than ten in a batch) and due to the nature of hand-dyeing, we could not guarantee a match even if the colours used were the same.

I've changed my mind and don't like the yarn anymore/the colours are different to what I expected, can I get a refund?

We want you to be happy with your purchase so of course we will offer you a refund or a replacement. We just ask that you contact us first and request the refund/replacement within 14 days.
