Hand-dyed Meriboo double knitting yarn in Verdigris

Only 10 left in stock

80% superwash merino and 20% bamboo blend together in this beautiful yarn. The bamboo adds strength and a slight sheen to the yarn along with a subtle “heathering” of the colours due to the different way it absorbs the colour. Springy and light, this yarn offers excellent stitch definition so would be perfect for anything involving cables or other textured stitches.

Verdigris - a kettle dyed mixture of charcoal, jade, woad, logwood and teal combine to produce this beautiful woolly version of verdigris, perfect for a light shawl or cardigan for Spring.

100g/225m per skein.

Knits/crochets to standard DK tension on ~ 4mm needles

As with all hand-dyed yarns, variation between skeins is expected. We recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows to avoid the colours “pooling” and to ensure an even distribution of colour throughout the piece.

Machine-washable on gentle wool cycle.
